 تسلط هر چه بیشتر بر بخش واژگان ، میتواند ما را در در هر چهار مهارت موفق تر کند. در بخش واژگان پابه ، در این نوبت دو درس 3 و 4 و تعداد قابل توجهی لغت و اصطلاح را دوره می کنیم:

 

در ابتدای امر لازم است ، با واژگان این دو درس آشنا شوبد، مثالها را با دقت بخوانید ، و به روش مقتضی آنها را مرور نمایید. برای تسلط و تمرین بیشتر این موارد را نیز که در همین بسته (بسته ی شماره ی 1) تقدیم شده است مطالعه کرده و بکار ببندید:

 Unit 3 - Keeping Fit

alergy= a medical condition that cause you to react badly for feel ill when you eat or touch a particular substance.  

anxiety= the state of feeling nervous or worried that sth bad is going to happen.

appetite= physical desire for food.

artery= any of the tubes that carry blood from the heart to the rest of the body.

asset= useful- benefit advantage that sth gives you.

cravings= strong desire for sth.

depression= a medical condition in which a person feels very sad and anxious and often has physical symptom such as being unable to sleep, etc.                                                                  

diagnosis= the act of discovering or identifying the exact cause of an illness or a problem.

diet= a limited variety or amount of food that you eat for medical reasons or because you want to lose weight.

dietician= a person whose job is to advise people on what kind of food they should eat to keep healthy.

disease= illness

(eating) disorder= a lack of order or organization in eating.

exercise= activity- physical or mental activity that you do to stay healthy or become stronger.

factor= one of several things that cause or influence sth.

fast food= hot food that is served very quickly in special restaurants, and often taken away to be eaten in the street.

fat= a white or yellow substance in the bodies of animals and humans, stored under the skin.

harm= damage

health= the state of being physically and mentally health.

heart attack= sudden serious medical condition in which the heart stop working normally, sometimes causing death.

infection= the act or process of causing or getting a disease.

ingredients= one of the things from which sth is made, especially one of the foods that are used together to make a particular dish.                           

insomnia= the condition of being unable to sleep.

intake= the amount of food, drink, etc. that you take into your body.

Junk food= food that is quick and easy to prepare and eat, but that is thought to be bad for your health.

Unit 4 - Mental and physical development

activity= a thing that you do for interest or pleasure, or in order to achieve a particular aim.

aspect= a particular part of feature of a situation – an idea, a problem, etc. away in which it may be considered.

attitude= the way that you think and feel.

(achieve balance) = accomplish a balance.

competition= an event in which people compete with each other to find out who is the best at sth.

creativity= having the skill and ability to produce sth new, especially a work of art.

daily routine= things you do every day.

desire= a strong wish to have or do sth.

disappointment= sadness because sth has not happened or been as good, successful, etc. as you expected or hoped.

experience= the knowledge and skill that you have gained through doing sth for a period of time.

fulfillment= to make sb feel happy and satisfied with what they are doing or have done.

goal= something that you hope to achieve.

hobby= an activity that you do for pleasure when you are not working.

insight= a deep understanding – the ability to see and understand the true about people or situations.

leisure= when you have the time to do sth without hurrying .

life style= the way in which a person or a group of people lives and works.

optimist = a person who always expects good things to happen or things to be successful.

outlook= the attitude to life and the world of particular person, group, or culture.

opportunity= a time when a particular situation makes it possible to do or achieve sth.

personality= the various aspects of a person's character that combine to make them different from other people.

pessimist= noun a person who always expects bad things will happen and that sth will not be successful.

priority= something that you think is more important than other things and should be dealt with first.

pressure= the act of trying to persuade or to force sb to do sth.

realist= a person who accepts and deals with a situation as it really is and does not try to pretend that it is different.

risk taker= the practice of doing things that involve risks in order to achieve sth.
